Albert Voigts started farming with the first Karakul sheep in this country around 1907, his grandson Heino developed to be the biggest sheep farmer in the south with 10 000 ewes at times.
This shed was used by Heino Voigts to sort and store thousands of Karakulpelts before they were exported.
